Oaxaca Elopement Photographer
Word on the street is you’re eloping in Oaxaca, Mexico. If I could, I would high-five you and shout a little too loudly that you’re making great decisions with your life. I have crisscrossed literally the entire world and Oaxaca is an absolute gem of a place. And as far as elopement or wedding photography of this great adventure of yours - oh man, the possibilities in Oaxaca never end. Every corner yields more texture, colour, history, vibrancy, culture, and atmosphere. The question will be: where won’t you go?
Oaxaca is abundant is many things, including some photographers. So why bring a photographer to Oaxaca? Read just a little bit further and hear me out….
Fresh Eyes
While there are some really truly talented photographers in Oaxaca, I’ve only come and gone in this place. I still see Oaxaca with a strong sense of wonder and awe. It’s a phenomenal place and even though I have lived here 3 times, I am nowhere close to tired of it. Meanwhile, having not shot hundreds of weddings in the same spaces, I also don’t have default, go-to scenes and poses that I run every couple through. My goal as a travel photographer has always been to see the same thing as other tourists see, but find a way to capture it uniquely and make it my own. Not the same photo, on repeat, as everyone else.
In sum: I will hustle for you on every level to get photographs like no other. I will go the extra mile creatively, physically, logistically, and in planning too.
Always Easy
No matter where in the world I am photograhing clients, I want it to be easy, fun, and genuine. I work hard to make everyone feel at ease, in good hands, and feeling awesome. No stiff poses here, though I will guide you into flattering positions and then encourage genuine moments. Meanwhile, the travel photographer in me is working hard to ensure there’s also a strong sense of place!
Connections
I have connections to vendors, florists, chefs, private rooftops, and much more. I am literally overflowing with ideas for eloping or having an intimate wedding in Oaxaca. I’m not your wedding planner but I’m happy to share everything I’ve got to give. Sure, I don’t live there full-time but I forged connections with weddings exactly like yours in mind.

English is my first language. Ideally, I’d be bilingual by now en espanol - I am working on it. But as for your experience with me, if English your first language too then we can communicate freely and with lots of detail about what you’re hoping for your day. When it comes to photography there is a lot of nuance and nerves and so having a shared native language is really helpful.
